Final Fantasy XI is a MMORPG that I've bought and started to get into, as of January 2004. I've always loved this series, and have every Final Fantasy that's available for the PlayStation systems. This is their first foray into the world of online gaming, and I'd heard good things about it, as well as being a fan of the series, so it was inevitable, I suppose, to get into this game. It's set in the land of Vana'diel, a magic world full of monsters and political intrigue. Here you can see how my experience goes.

My character is named, of course, Tarynn. What else? She's of the all female, cat-like race called the Mithra. She hails from the Federation of Windurst, in the South-East of Vana'diel. She's a tough little fighter and a samurai class warrior in the level 40's. You can find me on Odin server.
My husband also has a character on this game, an Elvaan named Luthe. He also comes from Windurst. Matthew's a dragoon in his level 60's, with a Wyvern (small dragon) pet named Nonomi who's a great little fighter in her own right. Matt also plays EverQuest and EverQuest II, so his game time's stretched pretty thin. You can find him on Odin server, too. |
