Why I Love This Series
A Man Of His Word is a very simple, ages old story form, but it's really good. The characters are interesting and you get really attatched to Rap. Duncan has also made a truly unique magic system unlike any you'll ever have read about before. It's worth the read just to find out about it. The pacing's good and there's lots of action to keep you on the edge of your seat. Duncan's writing is very dynamic and will keep you hooked to the last page of the last book. If you like this series, try his sequal series, A Handful Of Men. As for me, I tried it, but didn't finish it. I like where Rap and his princess were in the end. This is a really wonderful series, so give it a try!
