TowerMUSH

I rarely go on this MU* anymore, but it's worthy of note because it IS a nice one with lots of nice people, and it was on this MUSH I met my husband. It's based on the Tower And The Hive book series by Anne McCaffrey, which is about a family of powerful psychics. Other than her Pern books, these are my favorites. If I ever go there anymore you'll find me there as Tarynn, of course. I was Brianna, and also a girl named Myrn there for awhile.

The Setting of TowerMUSH

The MUSH is set around the end of the book Damia. However, none of the main characters of the book ever existed. The Gwyn-Raven clan never came to be. The attack of the hive occurred on Deneb. However, all the planet's psychic talents pulled together to save their world. The Mrdinis have yet to show up in the timeline, and will probably never be introduced. Earth and the base on Jupiter's moon, Callisto, are currently the only areas available to play on. It's not a terribly large MUSH, but the people there are dedicated to playing and are nice. If you want to be a talent, you have to apply, and as long as you're not asking for too high a ranking, you will most likely get what you ask for. The staff there are really nice that way.

Tarynn/Brianna

Looks

Both these characters look the same. They have long black hair that they usually wear in a thick braid that hangs to the waist. With fair skin, gold eyes, and a very curvy, voluptuous-though not thin or fat-figure, Brianna and Tarynn are rare beauties.

History

Brianna was my first TowerMUSH character. She was the cargomaster of Deneb Tower, and married Mathias, the brother of Prime Leann's husband, Luthe. They had a pair of twins together, along with a little coonie and a barque cat named Luna. Brianna was about 25, with Mathias about the same age. He lived on Altair, Brianna's home planet, on a horse ranch, and they met on one of Brianna's visits to her family.

Tarynn is my new character on TowerMUSH, and she has the same talents Brianna had, telekinisis, empathy, and telepathy. She also has about the same childhood and past that Brianna had. Her mother was a teacher in the school for young talents and had 9 children with her husband, who was one of the tower engineers on Altair. They found she was talented at an early age and worked hard to help her develop it. Later Tarynn was recruited by the prime to work in the tower training, starting as cargo handler. Here the similarity ends, as she left and went to the tower on Callisto, Jupiter's moon, instead of Deneb, where Brianna settled and had children.
